For the Locals

If you live in the Raleigh or surrounding areas be sure to stop at the downtown Raleigh City Plaza where the twenty-seven week inaugural season of the Farmer's Market kicks off today, April 28th from 10am-2pm (and then every Wednesday until October 27th)

"The Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market, a program produced by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, brings the highest quality local growers and food artisans together for a Raleigh audience. Our vendors include North Carolina farmers, ranchers, fisherman, nurserymen, bakers, cheese makers, and specialty foods producers."

Get out there and support your local farmers; eat good, healthy, local foods.
-It's healthier
-It's fresh
-It supports a healthy environment
-Makes for more local spending, keeping the money circulating in your community
-It tastes better; it doesn't need to travel thousands of miles to get to your plate

I hope to see you there :)

Not in the Raleigh area? I encourage you to search for your local farmer's market. It's the perfect week to get there!

There really is NOTHING like farm fresh veggies!
