Oh my gosh do I love the crock pot! What a great invention and HELLO...time saver! Gather, wash and cut all the veggies and goodies the night before...pop it in, in the morning and RUN! Literally, just "set it and forget it..." simply genius!
Day off from the internship = today is for me time :) I started the morning getting my slow cooker ready for dinner [this evening] (put the baby on an 8 hour timer) then headed out! I hit the gym and Trader Joe's then finished with some errands. The best part is...it's still only noon!
I came home to a house smelling of delicious pot roast...check it out!
Only 3.5 hours in and it's already looking delicious!
What's Cookin'?
- 3 lbs. chuck roast
- 5 cups of veg (carrot, celery, onion and potato)
- 1 McCormick slow cooker seasoning pk
- 1 cup H2O
Seriously SO easy!
This is a great way to get in your daily vegetable servings while packin' in the protein! You can share with friends, family or freeze and save leftovers for a hectic week night!
