Growing your own produce has several benefits; it can shave some bucks off you grocery bill, it is a great hobby and it ensures healthy eating habits! I have found myself just enjoying my deck even more now that I can watch my produce grow :)

Those strawberries look GREAT! We just bought a composting kit to start our own compost last night. I would love to grow some fruits and veggies but dont think I have the greenist thumb. I am hoping my composting will push we to farm in the future. Otherwise, what am I going to do with all my compost material?
ReplyDeleteNo but I plan on starting one when I move to my new house. Haven't decided what to make yet though but those strawberries are tempting.
ReplyDeleteI grew plants last year, but only got about two tomatoes and no zuchinni. :( maybe i'll have better luck when i get a backyard and i'm not planting them in pots :)
